Keep payment, proof, and release inside Sellibly.

Escrow for online deals

Pay for an online deal without paying a stranger first.

Sellibly holds the money until the buyer confirms they received what they paid for. The seller knows the money is real. The buyer knows it is not gone until they are happy.

The rule that protects both sides: the buyer never pays the seller directly, and the seller never hands over before the money is held.

How it works

  1. Step 1

The seller creates a payment link

Title, price and what the buyer gets, in naira or dollars. It takes a minute and the link is ready to share.

  2. Step 2

The buyer pays Sellibly, not the seller

The money is held by us. The seller can see it is there, so they can deliver with confidence, but cannot touch it.

  3. Step 3

    The seller delivers

Files, access, work or handover, through the protected chat that opens once the payment is held, so there is a record of it.

  4. Step 4

    The buyer checks, then releases

Only when everything works does the buyer release the payment. Then the seller is paid and can withdraw.

What people use it for

Any deal where one side would otherwise have to trust the other with the money first.

  • Websites and domains
  • Digital products, templates and courses
  • Freelance, design and development work
  • Online businesses changing hands

For sellers

Share one link instead of your bank details. You can see the payment is held before you hand anything over, and you are paid as soon as the buyer releases.

For buyers

Pay by card or bank transfer through protected checkout. Nothing reaches the seller until you have checked what you bought and released it yourself.

Questions

What if the seller never delivers?

Do not release the payment. Open a dispute from the deal instead. Our team reviews the deal and the conversation, and if the seller did not deliver what was agreed, the buyer gets their money back.

When does the seller get paid?

When the buyer releases the payment. Until then it stays held, so a seller who delivers properly has nothing to chase.

How much does it cost?

Creating a link is free. An escrow fee applies when a deal is paid, and the amount is shown before anyone pays. Current fees are on the pricing page. See pricing.

Can I release by mistake?

Releasing asks you to confirm first, because it pays the seller and cannot be undone. Only release once you have checked everything you paid for.

Your next deal, without the trust problem

Create a payment link, share it, and let the money wait in the middle until the job is done.
